This is my introduction-level retinol — 0.5% in an oil base with vitamin E, so it feels less harsh than a lot of retinols I've tried. I use it mainly for brightening and aging concerns, and combination or dry skin seems to tolerate it best. Still, I only use it a few nights a week.
